For example, CMR Green Technologies listed about 43% above its issue price, beating its pre-listing GMP estimate, while many issues list below what GMP implied. Treat GMP as one unofficial sentiment signal among many, never as a basis for an investment decision on its own.

Mainboard IPOs list on the main BSE/NSE platforms, are typically larger, and have small lot sizes (often under Rs 15,000 per application).
